3D Sunsets Collection

The 3D Sunset Collection is inspired by my love of being near the water and the unforgettable sunsets I’ve experienced throughout my life. Much of the inspiration comes from summers spent on Georgian Bay, where the colors of the sky, water, and shoreline are constantly changing.

Each piece combines acrylic painting, clear-coat resin, and real river stones to create depth and texture that extends beyond a traditional canvas. The resin gives the water a glossy, reflective quality, while the natural stones bring a physical piece of the landscape into the artwork, creating a three-dimensional shoreline.

Through these paintings, I try to capture that peaceful moment at the end of the day when the sun meets the horizon and everything seems to slow down. The collection brings together water, light, color, and natural materials to recreate the feeling of standing along the shore and watching a sunset unfold.
